It is October! Fall is finally here, and the weather is turning cooler. There are so many activities in the fall! There are hay rides, pumpkin picking, trick or treating, and more! What is your favorite part of fall? 

I have compiled a list of fall activities in and around Germantown. What are you going to do first?

  1. Fall Pumpkin Festival until November 4th, 2018: Amazing Farm Fun at Ticonderoga Farms in Chantilly, VA. Go to www.amazingfarmfun.com
  2. Great Pumpkin Adventure on October 13th, 2018: decorate pumpkins and ghosts, get free candy, and win prizes for best costume!
  3. Pumpkin Fest 2018 on October 13th, 2018 from 11:30am to 2pm at Epworth United Methodist Church
  4. Trail of Jack -O- Lanterns from October 19th to 21st, 2018: Green Meadows Farm: enjoy fire pits, animal barns, wagon rides, and more! Opens at 6pm.
  5. Halloween Among the Trees on October 20th, 2018 at the Robinson Nature Center from 9am to 12pm. Enjoy a lot of Halloween inspired activities! Call 410-313-0400 to register or visit www.howardcountymd.gov/RNCtrickortreat
  6. BOOtanica on October 26th, 2018 at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD. Wear a costume, join a garden parade, and more!  From 5:30pm to 8:30pm. 
  7. Halloween Costume Parades Weekend at Clark’s Elioak Farm on October 27th and 28th, 2018. Costume parades are at 11am and 2pm. Open from 10am to 5pm with train rides, a forest maze, and more! 
  8. Boo! At the Barn on October 28th, 2018 from 11am to 1pm. Geared towards younger children with themed art activities, a costume parade, and trick or treating. Located at Arts Barn in Gaithersburg, MD. 
  9. Pumpkin Chucking Weekend at Clark’s Elioak Farm November 3rd and 4th, 2018. Catapult your pumpkin as far as it can go from 10am to 5pm!
