About Valarie

Licensed in Maryland and Pennsylvania, I bring over a decade of real estate experience and a results-driven approach to every client relationship. Originally from Simi Valley, California, I relocated to the East Coast in 1989 for an internship training young horses for Non-Pro Reining—an experience that shaped my discipline, patience, and ability to read situations carefully.

Before earning my real estate license in 2010, I spent six years working alongside my husband in the real estate appraisal industry. This unique background allows me to advise sellers and buyers with a deeper understanding of lender-required value, pricing strategy, and market positioning—well before a home is listed or an offer is written.

My background in horse and dog training continues to influence how I serve my clients today. I listen closely, observe carefully, and determine the best course of action to achieve optimal results. Clear communication, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving are at the core of my business.

Outside of real estate, I spend my free time with my horse, Cowboy—often seen together on trail rides—and my Golden Retriever, Tali, who frequently joins me at showings and community events. These relationships reflect the patience, trust, and consistency I bring to every client experience.
