About Carmen

Upon completing my Business Administration B.A. in Lima, Peru I went to work for Shell Oil Company for eight years. While working for Shell, I also traveled to Europe and the United States to complete my post-graduate studies. During that time, I gained valuable experience in marketing, planning, finance, and sales management spanning four countries.

My career and constant travel for my graduate studies gave me the opportunity to become fluent in four languages: Spanish, English, German, and Portuguese.

In 2005 I moved from Lima, Peru, to Florida, where I began my career as a REALTOR®. My multi-faceted background has helped me build a successful career. After seven years in Florida, I met my husband, obtained my Maryland license, and moved to the Baltimore area. Today I specialize in helping Baby-Boomers sell their home in Maryland and purchase their retirement homes in Florida.

For Buyers… I know Maryland Mortgage Programs (MMP) inside and out and will use that knowledge to help you with down payment and closing assistance. I will guide you through the programs you can take advantage of: Home credits for home buyers, Maryland’s Homefront, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Live Near Your Work (LNYW), and Baltimore City employee homeownership program.

For every transaction, I use a transaction coordinator; this ensures that every detail will be completed while I remain available to you.

For Sellers… We will initially meet to establish a price, timelines, and marketing strategies to get your home sold as quickly as possible. Once we receive an offer, I will guide you through the negotiation and how to respond with a counteroffer to guarantee you will receive top dollar for your home. Because I’ve lived on three continents, I gained valuable experience and confidence to sell properties quickly and find a solution to any situation.
